Read Yourself Well book groups

Find and share inspiration through books in one of our groups. Joining a group can enable you to share your knowledge and experience of reading and give you the opportunity to meet new people. The book groups happen once a month in libraries across the county and are co-ordinated by Charlotte Griffiths, one of the peer supporters. Kelmarsh Hall gardening project

Michael Laws is working on a partnership project at Kelmarsh Hall. Working closely with Head Gardener Esther McMillan, they aim to provide volunteering opportunities to people experiencing mental health distress to work in the beautiful walled gardens of Kelmarsh.

The group will work in the gardens for three hours once a week in the spring and summer and once a month later in the year. Volunteers will need to organise their own transport and working equipment will be provided. the project will start in April (providing Kelmarsh have secured enough funding), so if you know anyone who might be interested please call Michael laws on 07827 895163.
