Short Story Writing** - create the dream
Improve your wellbeing by assimilating expereinces, exploring emotions and clarifying your thoughts. Putting pen to paper helps to focus where we want to go and what we want to do. Writing is one of the most creative tools we possess as human beings, with many authors beginning their careers with semi autobiographical work and find that it leads them to venture into fictional territory. This is a free six week course.

Creative Crafts** - A Day to Enhance Wellbeing
A day of creative crafts. Try your hand at a variety of crafts which allow free expression throught he mediums of painting, drawing, ceramics, card making and jewellery making. Join like minded people in this fun, relaxed day away from the stresses of everyday life. You will have an opportunity to try all of the crafts in one day and then you may wish to sign up for a longer class in the future. This is a free one off session.

Scrapbooking** - Positive Memories
Scrapbooking is a way to preserve and pass on your memories in a uniques and personal way. Plenty of scope is given for imagination and self expression. pages can be embellished with memorabilia, drawings, mementoes such as tickets etc. Scrapbooking can capture the mood of a time or place in a positive way, rather than simply putting photos in an album. Lots of themes are possible - People in my Life, My Home, My Garden - anything that has a positive spin on your life and wellbeing. This is a free six week course.

My Journey** to Wellbeing
This free six week course is facilitated by people with alived experienceof long term physical health conditions and/or experience of mental distress. It is a skills based course that will introduce you to tools and techniques that are useful if you are experiencing low mood, stress or anxiety.

Defence Mechanisms** to make me confident - learn2 walk tall
Assertiveness and strong body language are key factors in looking confident and less vulnerable. Self defence enables you to build your confidence, remain calm under immense stress and can in instances help you channel any aggression should the need arise. This course looks at the confidence and self esteem rather than the physical measures to improve personal safety. This is a free one off session.

From Anger to Assertiveness** for Men
Are you easily irritated? Do you feel annoyed? Do you feel angry?
If this sounds familiar, don't let anger get the better of you - come along to this free three week personal development programme for MEN and learn skills and techniques that will help you go from Anger to Assertiveness.

Sleep Management**
Is your life debilitated by long term sleep problems such as poor quality sleep, insomnia, or difficulty getting off to sleep? Have you been taking long term hypnotics and would welcome the chance to reduce your reliance on such medication? If so, this free three week course could be for you.

Moving On** - Making Positive Changes
There is a time to progress and everyone needs uspport to do it successfully. Working closely with each individual learner this day allows for an exploration of opportunities within the wider community. Plan steps around your aspirations and strengths and look at skills in a more general way to achieve your goal whether short term or long term. This is a free one off session.

Learn2b Heard**
Would you like to be more expressive? Would you like friends, family and colleagues to pay more attention to what you say?
Your voice is one of the many tools with which you communicate and can often be affected by nervousness, anxiety or feeling low. This free three week course introduces you to pracical vocal techniques and strategies that help you build confidence, improve communication skills and enhance self esteem. Come along and learn how to manage your voice more effectively.
You do not need to be good at singing to be heard!

NLP** - Being the Best You Can Be
This free taster session will introduce you to the principles of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) which may help enhance your sense of wellbeing. Ths course will equip you with knowledge of how you could apply NLP to your life, relationships, work and lifestyle.

Express Yourself Well - Pens not Pills**
This free six week course offers you the opportunity to explore how creative writing could improve your wellbeing. The group is open to anyone from beginners to those who already have an interest in creative writing.

Is your life highly pressured - at work, at home, in general? Have you forgotten how to relax and enjoy life? Stress can adversely affect our physical health and our emotional wellbeing.
